Kim Fasking
Kim is a Chicago native who moved with her family to Alabama in 2005. She earned her Bachelor of Philosophy in Anthropology from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law. She has worked in several areas of law, including immigration, criminal defense, civil rights, and employment discrimination.
Over the last few years, Kim shifted her focus to immigration full time, and she now largely focuses on removal defense, representing individuals who have been placed into immigration court proceedings. Her enduring passion and focus is "crisis immigration"-- a term she uses to describe cases where clients face the prospect of having their families divided by a border or being returned across a border to the perils from which they have previously fled. In addition to representing clients in immigration courts, she also represents clients before USCIS.
